What secrets is the hotel hiding? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/34210987-the-polar-bear-explorers-club?ac=1&amp;from_search=true&amp;qid=ySy1qz60BS&amp;rank=1\">The Polar Bear Explorers&#8217; Club by Alex Bell<\/a> &#8211; <em>It sounded like a respectable and worthy enough death for an explorer &#8211; tumbling from an ice bridge to be impaled upon a mammoth tusk &#8211; but Stella really, really didn&#8217;t want that to happen, just the same.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/34455798-the-wizards-of-once?ac=1&amp;from_search=true&amp;qid=1VW0mJLXHU&amp;rank=1\">The Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell<\/a> &#8211; a fantastic audiobook about a boy Wizard, a girl Warrior and Witches. I plan on continuing with the series asap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/41710132-the-midnight-hour\">The Midnight Hour by Benjamin Read &amp; Laura Trinder<\/a> &#8211; <em>A Victorian London frozen in time, the Midnight Hour is a magical place of sanctuary and of peril dreamt up by children \u2013 and inhabited by monsters of legend, creatures of the imagination, and a Postal Service determined to save the day (and night!).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/43132607-malamander?from_search=true&amp;from_srp=true&amp;qid=7Dy5a4fDPe&amp;rank=1\">Malamander by Thomas Taylor<\/a> &#8211; <em>Herbert Lemon, Lost-and-Founder at the Grand Nautilus Hotel, knows that returning lost things to their rightful owners is not easy \u2013 especially when the lost thing is not a thing at all, but a girl.<\/em> I adored this to bits, if you walk away from this week&#8217;s post with a recommendation, it should be this one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/43133635-gargantis\">Gargantis by Thomas Taylor<\/a> &#8211; the sequel to Malamander, we meet a monster and delve further into the fisherfolk legends of Eerie-on-Sea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/43133899-shadowghast\">Shadowghast by Thomas Taylor<\/a> &#8211; sequel to Gargantis. This third adventure in the series is the weakest link, but it was lovely seeing Herbert Lemon almost grown up, yet still a child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/43805740-frostheart?from_search=true&amp;from_srp=true&amp;qid=L9fzitPJaO&amp;rank=1\">Frostheart by Jamie Littler<\/a> &#8211; paired with beautiful illustrations, we follow the snowy, singing adventures of a boy called Ash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/52167744-the-land-of-roar\">The Land of Roar by Jenny McLachlan<\/a> &#8211; <em>Everyone remembers their secret imaginary world&#8230;but what if you discovered that yours was real?\u00a0<\/em>This is an enchanting read and I highly recommend it \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll be doing a dedicate post for Christmas Book recommendations, here are some more recommendations for books sit at Christmas time. It\u2019s all just a big misunderstanding! This tale of friendship, sleigh rides and two formidable girls<\/em> is one I haven&#8217;t read yet, but I&#8217;m definitely looking forward to reading this Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/56131024-diary-of-a-christmas-elf\">Diary of a Christmas Elf by Ben Miller<\/a> &#8211; <em>All\u00a0Tog<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>wants to do is work in\u00a0Santa&#8217;s workshop\u00a0and one wonderful day, the letter from Santa arrives: Tog has been selected as an apprentice\u00a0elf!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/59023333-the-christmas-carrolls\">The Christmas Carrolls by Mel Taylor-Bessent<\/a> &#8211; <em>Wish it could be Christmas every day? Well, for nine-year-old Holly Carroll and her family, it is!
