    Tome 1 of War in Peace (Macedonian edition) <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy<\/a> – though my edition is separated into 4 different tomes and the end-of-year goal is to finish tome 1 only. The remainder will be read over the course of 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Red Seas Under Red Skies\u00a0(Gentleman Bastard, #2) by Scott Lynch<\/a> – there’s no mention of autumn so far in the book, I’m going with this purely based on the autumnal colors on the cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Not one to keep track of all new releases and nothing coming out in December seems to excite me, the peak seems to have been October when so many books came out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel<\/a>, The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell<\/a>, The Unconsoled by Kazuo Ishiguro<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Boy, have I made plans!! I already have a 2021-tbr shelf on my Goodreads including Malice by John Gwynne<\/a>, Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro<\/a>, The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie<\/a>, Rules of Civility by Amor Towles<\/a>, Autumn by Ali Smith<\/a>, Starsight <\/a>and Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson<\/a> and then some. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
