The flamingo story was cute though. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mac and Cleo seem an unlikely couple, the chemistry wasn&#8217;t quite there. I couldn&#8217;t bring myself to cheer them on. However, the inhabitants of the island and their activities, how much they care for and support each other was amazing. I loved the knitting group, the tight-knit community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst the idea is pretty good, something about this story feels rushed. Yes, the island&#8230;the cottage&#8230;the grotto are atmospheric, but the main characters and who they are is not quite fleshed out. I do think this has potential, just needs some extra work or editing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you read this novel?
