November seems like a good time to do the ‘End of Year Book Tag’ created by Ariel Bissett on Youtube<\/a>. Here are the questions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve DNF-ed like never before this year and I have no plans to revisit any of those books. The only one I may potentially reconsider near Christmas time is In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My current read i.e. The Forest by Edward Rutherfurd follows a forest in the UK over multiple years and the changes coming with every season. The book is about a lot more than that but I’m keeping this answer season specific. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there a new release you\u2019re still waiting for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book I’m going to mention has already been released, however, I’ve not had a chance to read it yet so the answer is still valid: Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d like to read some of the Goodreads Choice Awards nominees in the historical fiction and fantasy categories. I’ve read surprisingly little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite of the year?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope to read some more Maggie O’Farrell and I do tend to like her writing. I guess we’ll see how that goes when I post my favorite reads of 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you already started making reading plans for 202<\/strong>4?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only plan I have at the moment is to read more of the books I already own and purchase less books. Fingers crossed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
