10 Best Books I’ve Read According to Goodreads
I’m doing my own topic today inspired Hailey in Bookland and Jack Edwards on Booktube and talking about the best books I’ve read according to Goodreads. To do so, I went to my Goodreads read shelf and sorted by average rating from highest to lowest.
The list features some Macedonian editions that have very few ratings, so I’ve decide not to include those nor box sets. Here’s the 10 other titles on the list including the average rating and my own rating for the book.
- Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson- average 4.75 – my rating 3
- Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee – average 4.71 – my rating 5
- The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson – average 4.64 – my rating 4
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling – average4.62 – my rating 4
- Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – average 4.61 – my rating 3
- Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson – average 4.60 – my rating 3
- The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah – average 4.59 – my rating 4
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling – average 4.58 – my rating 5
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling- average 4.57 – my rating 4
- The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss – average 4.55 – my rating 5
I’m not surprised by Brandon Sanderson nor Rowling appearing quite a few times, did not expect Crooked Kingdom but so happy to see Jade Legacy on this list!

Oh, what a fun list. I’ll have to look through my Goodreads stats sometime. 🙂

They’re more fun to look at than I expected. Thanks for visiting Lydia.
Ooh this is a cool idea, I may borrow it sometime! My highest rated book according to Goodreads is Know My Name by Chanel Miller, the memoir of the survivor of the Stanford rape case. We share a couple, Crooked Kingdom, and all the Harry Potter books are also among my highest rated.

I’ve heard of Know My Name, but I’m kind of afraid to read it for now. I expected Harry Potter but Crooked Kingdom was definitely a bit of a surprise on this list. Thanks for visiting Jo!
What a cool idea! I might steal your idea, not for a TTT. Not surprised there are a few Harry Potter books on the list.
