Today’s topic is ‘Books About/Set In Places on My Bucket List’. While I have been in Spain multiple times, there’s still so many places I want to visit or revisit. So, here’s a list of 10 books set in Spain:

  1. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
  2. Don Quixote by Cervantes
  3. The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway
  4. Cathedral of the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones
  5. The Time in Beetween by María Dueñas
  6. Ghosts of Spain by Giles Tremlett
  7. Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell
  8. The Invisible Guardian by Dolores Redondo
  9. El Silencio de la Ciudad Blanca by Eva García Sáenz de Urturi
  10. The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys

Some of these I have read, some are on my TBR. Have you read any of these? Leave your TTT in the comments.

  1. To be honest I haven’t given Spain much thought but it seems to be popular.

I’ve read the first and the last. I spent 3 days in Barcelona last September and that wasn’t enough even for that city. I definitely want to go back to Spain to see more. Great choice.

One day, I keep swearing I’ll eventually read Don Quixote. It’s just so intimidating!
