The topic for the week is anticipated releases for 2022.

The Lost Metal: A Mistborn Novel by Brandon Sanderson – also known as Mistborn #7 or the 4th book in the second Mistborn era. Need no further description and automatically goes on my list of anticipated releases.

Running Wild: A Novel by K.A. Tucker – book 1 was pretty good, things are going a bit downhill since, things are dragging out but I’m still going to read this.

Silverborn: The Mystery of Morrigan Crow: Nevermoor, Book 4 by Jessica Townsend – cannot wait to read more of Morrigan’s adventures.

I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys – not the best of luck with this author’s books but willing to give them another shot after reading this description.

The Hunger of the Gods by John Gwynne – after loving all of Gwynne’s other books, any other books he publishes are going on my auto-buy list.

Neil Gaiman’s Chivalry – it’s no secret that Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors so this needs no further explanation.

The Bastards and the Knives by Scott Lynch – definitely reading any new material about the gentleman bastards.

To Paradise: A Novel by Hanya Yanagihara – my most anticipated of all books on this list, especially after reading and loving A Little Life and The People in the Trees.

Hook, Line, and Sinker: A Novel by Tessa Bailey – excited to red more about the Bellinger sisters.

A Storm of Sisters by Michelle Harrison – book 4 in the A Pinch of Magic, a wonderful middle grade story about 3 sisters in possession of some magical objects.

As you can see, most of the titles on my list are next books in series I’ve already started. What’s on your list of anticipated releases?

  2. I didn’t know there was going to be a fourth Morrigan Crow book. I read and loved Nevermoor, and I own the second one – need to read that ASAP!
