Secretly Yours by Tessa Bailey

I’ve read so much Tessa Bailey in the past year and was really excited to see a new book recently.

Secretly Yours is a rom-com novel about a professor and gardener meeting in the professor’s family winery. He is on leave and working on a novel, she is working on the estate’s garden. You can imagine a romance develops from there.

I appreciated the scenes with their respective family and friends, Hallie is especially concerned about the well-being of a local family run business that’s getting less and less customers every day. Julian’s sister was very interesting as well, I’d love to read her story in the following book in the series.

The writing is what you’d expect if you’d already read Tessa Bailey before, the romance is super sweet and there’s definitely some over the top scenes.

Overall, there’s nothing too memorable in this one. However, I will still read the next book whenever it comes out.
