    I loved Number the Stars when I was in elementary school. Haven’t thought about it in years until you mentioned it. 🙂

    Great choices. We have a few of those on our bookshelves. My daughter has just recently read The Yellow Wallpaper.

  5. I remember enjoying Number the Stars as a kid, and The Yellow Wallpaper and Animal Farm are so good! I’ve been meaning to read The Metamorphosis and The Little Prince for so long — this is a good reminder. 🙂

  8. The Uncommon Reader made a number of lists this week. I should probably check that one out. I also need to read The Little Prince, been meaning to get around to that one for years now.

  9. The Little Prince and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are wonderful books! Jonathan Livingston Seagull is another favorite! Great list!

    I remember Seagull and Animal Farm being zippy reads! But I didn’t know Metamorphosis was less than 100 pages!

  13. This is a great list! Number the Stars, The Little Prince, and The Metamorphosis are some of my favorites, yet they completely slipped my mind.

  15. The Uncommon Reader!! I almost included that one on my TTT this week as well. It’s been awhile, but I remember it being a fun little read.
