Fix Her Up | The Tessa Bailey Project
Let’s ignore the fact that I read book 2 before realizing I should’ve know who Georgie and Travis are.
Is it over the top? Yes!
Did I like it? Also yes!
I stayed up way too late reading this, something which I haven’t done in a while. That in itself says a lot about my enjoyment of this novel.
Love Georgie’s humor and banter with Travis. I do not care for clowns myself but luckily there was only one scene where she was dressed up as one. I do not get how a children’s party animator can afford to buy their own house though that may be because they’re not that common nor well paid over here, most I’ve met do that as a side hustle.
As the youngest of three children, I understand her always being seen as a kid both in the family and in her small town. I cheered her on when she finally showed some teeth and even became a leader of a group of women known as the ‘Just Us League’.
I appreciate the romance wasn’t too rushed and how the perspective switched between Georgie and Travis. Kept my interest and the dynamics of the plot too.
Will definitely be reading more Tessa Bailey.
