The 10 Types of Bookworms

The topic this week is Books with Handwriting on the Cover. This does not quite inspire me so I’m doing my own topic on 10 types of bookworms. I had originally published this on my old blog (which no longer exists), but I’ve since added more to it.
- The Borrower – asks to lend a book from your library and promises to return it as soon as they’ve read it. It’s been 4 years now and there’s no sign of the book being returned to you.
- The Dog-Ear(er) – the one who folds down the corner of the page to mark their place despite owning a vast collection of bookmarks. Somehow bookmarks are never on hand.
- The Collector – has more books than they can read in a lifetime and keeps buying more books at every opportunity.
- The Casual Reader – enters or bookstore or library to browse casually, sees an interesting cover and synopsis and takes the book home
- The Reading Challenge Pro – always on top of their reading challenge, be it a Goodreads one, or, a themed and time constrained read-a-thon.
- The Overachiever – has either read or heard of every book other friends are interested in.
- The Classics Snob – only reads classics and scoffs at new releases. Books not deemed as classics are deemed not worthy of their attention.
- The New Releases Only – always on top of new releases, knows when each book is being published and has already pre-ordered it. Rarely reads older books.
- The Book Club Member – always finishes the assigned book on time, attends the discussion and voices their opinion.
- The Non-Fiction Lover – the one who only reads non-fiction.
What type of bookworm are you?
Leave your TTT in the comments.

I’m the Collector (and a few others but mostly the Collector) and I feel so called out! 😂
I love non-fiction, but it’s not all I read.
